The activities undertaken in close cooperation with the partnering agencies will considerably strengthen the ability of SARAS to carry out its mandate, which includes the authority to review financial statements, enforce corporate reporting requirements, conduct audit quality inspections, and monitor certification programs and examination processes of professional organizations.
